A youth from central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district is latest victim of “non-lethal pellet gun”.

Reports and eye witnesses from Srinagar’s SMHS said that a youth was rushed inside emergency ward of the hospital.

“His right side from head to his rib is hit by pellets,” an eye witness said, “doctors immediately took his body inside for medical investigation.”

Local sources from Ganderbal identified the youth as Bilal Ahmad, a resident of Latiwaza Yangoora.

“Clashes were going at two places in the area; one at Kondabal and Badampora near Sut kreel,” a local said.

The local said forces opened pellet fire at Sut kreel where Bilal was hit. “Seeing his situation, he was rushed to SMHS Srinagar,” he said.
