SRINAGAR: Expats11 Cricket Club, a distinguished cricket club established in 2017 by a group of passionate Kashmiri expatriates in Qatar, is celebrating its victory in the recently concluded Qatar Premier League 2023 Division 3. The club’s outstanding performance has propelled them into Division 2, marking a significant milestone in their journey and solidifying their reputation as a formidable cricket club in Qatar, Club managers said in a statement.
Founded to foster a sense of community and brotherhood among cricket enthusiasts, Expats11 Cricket Club has consistently prioritised talent and performance over regional affiliations. The team comprises individuals from various communities in Qatar, united by their love for the game of cricket.
In the Qatar Premier League 2023 Division 3, Expats11 played a total of seven matches, securing victories in five, facing one defeat, and experiencing one no-result due to rain. The team’s performance was highlighted by exceptional contributions from key players, earning them accolades and recognition.

Talha Rishi against Fearless Fighter Team, excelling in both batting and bowling.

Registered with the Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) since its inception, the club actively participates in various tournaments and leagues organized by the QCA, including the QCA League, QPL Qatar Airways League, Ramadhan Tournament, and the Qatar Kashmir Cricket Tournaments.
Having previously competed in Division 2 for two years, Expats 11 showcased its professionalism and talent, securing victories and gaining recognition as a formidable cricket club in Qatar. The current position at the top of the Division 3 table reflects the team’s commitment to excellence.
