Srinagar: Kashmir’s prominent athletic coach Sheikh Tulal passed away on Friday evening.
He was battling a brain tumor and was ailing for almost two years now.
A resident of Safa Kadal in downtown areas of Srinagar, Tulal was posted as Mangar Indoor Stadium. He was also the lone athletic coach with the J&K State Sports Council in Kashmir division. He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Zaldagar on Saturday morning.
Tulal is survived by his wife and a son.
