Srinagar: Thousands on Monday took part in a Protest rally organised by Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) in Kargil region of Jammu and Kashmir demanding justice for Asifa who was brutally raped and then murdered in kathua district of Jammu province three months ago.
The protest rally started from Jamia Masjid Kargil to Lal Chowk wherein the speakers condemned the heinous crime which has shaken the whole society.
During the rally, two effigies of culprits were also burnt as a mark of the protest. The protestors shouting slogans against gruesome incident demanded the punishment for the guilty.
Holding placards and banners the protesting a massive gathering of men, women and children assembled at Lalchowk in Kargil demanding justice for the victim.
