The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Inc) Saturday elected Mushtaq Ahmad Wani as its new president. The Kashmir Inc held its 8Ist Annual General Meeting at Hotel Grand Mumtaz, here which started early Saturday around 11:00.
The Annual General Meeting was well attended, the traders said.
“As a part of the agenda for the AGM results of the elections for Executive Committee of KCC&I for the year 2015-2016 were declared in the 8Ist Annual General Meeting by Abdul Majid Matto the Chairperson and two other members MI Shahdad and Dr Mubeen Shah of the three member Election Commission constituted for the purpose of conducting the elections to the 21 member Executive Committee,” a statement by traders body said.
According to the KCCI statement, following were elected as the Office Bearers and the Executive Committee.
- Mushtaq Ahmad Wani: President
- Gowhar Maqbool: Sr. Vice President
- Prof AR Khan: Jr. Vice President
- Faiz Ahmad Bakhshi: Secretary General
- Javid Ahmad Tenga: Jt. Secretary General
- Fayaz Ahmad Punjabi: Treasurer
The statement further said that the other elected executive committee members.
Altaf Ahmad Tramboo, Nazir Ahmad Wani, Ashfaq Siddiq Dug, Dr Gazalla Amin, Muzaffar Majid Jan, Sheikh Zahoor Ahmad, Nasir Hamid Khan, Parveez Ahmad Naqash, Parveez Ahmad Bhat, Iqbal Bakshi, Syed Masood Shah, Sheikh Imran, Sheikh Showkat Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad Pakhtoon, Firdous Ahmad Bhat.
