Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) has condemned the use of force on students across Kashmir on Monday.

In a statement,KEA said it was highly condemnable on the part of the government that students who happen to be future of a nation were denied their right to protest and were beaten ruthlessly.

“Situation reportedly aggravated as the students were denied their right to protest and police and other forces barged into the educational institutions,” statement added

KEA said that by curbing the sentiments of students the government has yet again exposed its intolerant behavior towards people of Kashmir.

“If the government was truly interested in peace, the student activism would have been allowed but the problem is that from ministers to some VCs almost everyone is more loyal than the king while even our highest chair of learning Kashmir University has banned student activism while incumbent VC shamelessly defends the gag,” the statement mentioned.
