The students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hazratbal, Srinagar on Wednesday staged a protest against the killing of three civilians in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that scores of local students assembled in the premises of the institute and shouted anti-government and pro-freedom slogans to protest against the civilian killings.
Earlier, protests were reported from various educational institutes of Kashmir to condemn the killing of three civilians in clashes in Khudwani area of Kulgam.
The protest was going on when this report was being filed.
