Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Advisor to Governor, called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan in Jammu on Saturday and briefed the latter about certain important matters in respect of the departments entrusted to his charge.
The Governor urged Ganai to ensure that all work in the departments receive timely attention and addressed him to particularly monitor the on-going dredging works on river Jhelum and also ensure that there is no impediment in the path of horticulturists carrying out plantation work during this month, especially those who are taking up high-density apple cultivation.
