Government yesterday ordered transfer and posting of IAS officer and also assigned the charge of Custodian General (CG), J&K.
According to the order, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai (IAS), Financial Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department has been transferred and posted as Chairman, Bureau of Public Enterprises.
The order further reads that the post of the Chairman, Bureau of Public Enterprises has been declared equivalent in the status to the IAS Cadre post of Chief Secretary for the period it is being held by Khurshid Ahmed Ganai.
Meanwhile, Shahid Anayatullah (IAS) will hold the charge of the post of Custodian General (CG), J&K in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
