Former minister of state for Home and MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo Sunday flagged off the batch of 137 students hailing from Kishtwar for ITI training in various courses (Trade) in Haryana and Punjab.
In a simple, but impressive function organized by the Principal and staff of ITI Kishtwar; Kichloo stressed upon the students to avail full benefits of the government sponsored schemes and extended his best wishes to them for their success. He urged upon the students from both the communities to remain united and defeat the communal elements who wants to divide the people of Kishtwar. He said that August 9 communal clashes has unfortunately presented the bad picture of Kishtwar outside the state and advice the students to prove such thing wrong before the people by showing their unity.
He also adviced the students to focus completely on their studies and complete the course by passing with good percentage. He said that he will utilize all its efforts for making the adjustment of local youths in power projects to be constructed in Kishtwar District. He said that all the students after completing their courses will get job opportunities in upcoming power projects.
