Srinagar: A delegation of Hurriyat Conference (M), on the directions of Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, on Thursday, visited the residence of resistance leader Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem at Sindipora, Budgam. Yousuf was killed by unknown gunmen in Budgam.

The delegation comprising Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Farooq Ahmed Saudagar, Muhammad Yousuf Bhat and others expressed condolence to the bereaved family.

A statement issued here said the delegation while paying tributes to Nadeem stated that he always remained at the forefront in the ongoing movement and whosoever brutally murdered Nadeem can never be the well-wisher of the people of Kashmir.

The delegation also visited the ailing JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik at SKIMS, Soura and inquired about his health. The delegation prayed for his speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson of the amalgam paid rich tributes to prominent pro-freedom activist Ghulam Muhammad Bulla on his anniversary stating that “the way Bulla was annihilated by the then government deserves all forms of condemnation”.

“Thousands have sacrificed their lives for the movement and the struggle will continue till the final goal is achieved,” the spokesperson said.
