SRINAGAR: King Fahd University is offering a fully funded scholarship to international students who want to pursue their master’s and PhD programmes in Saudi Arabia. The application process is online and can be only done through the official website of the university. The last date to apply is June 22, 2023.
The University offers various courses in subjects like Accountancy, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Statistics, Architectural Engineering, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, City & Regional Planning Civil & Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Computer Science Construction, Engineering and Management, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Geophysics, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Assurance & Security, Life Sciences, Materials Science & Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Physics, Petroleum Engineering, Physics software Engineering, Systems & Control Engineering and Telecommunication Engineering.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field for master’s admission with a GPA of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent and a GPA of 3.00 in the major subjects of the field. PhD applicants must have a master’s degree (after a bachelor’s degree) in engineering or sciences with a minimum CGPA of 3 on a scale of 4 or equivalent in both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Applicants are also required to send their English proficiency test scores.
Eligible candidates will get a full tuition waiver, medical care, free accommodation as well as a certain amount of monthly stipend. The required documents for the application include a copy of identification, complete official transcripts, three recommendation letters, a statement of purpose, and a CV.
