Amid continuing tensions in Jammu and Kashmir’s Jammu division, the Supreme Court on Tuesday took up the matter and sought a reply from the state government.
The apex court directed the J&K Chief Secretary to file a detailed affidavit on Kishtwar clashes and subsequent steps taken by the state government.
The affidavit needs to be filed by next Wednesday, the court stated.
The development came even as curfew continued in eight districts of Jammu region.
