Senior separatist leader Maulana Qayoom has supported the Million March call of Hurriyat (g) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Saturday during the rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Talking to KNS Maulana Qayoom said, “we offer full support to Geelani’s Million March as it’ll serve as a referendum against India.”
While addressing Friday prayer gatherings at Central Jamia Masjid in Kishtwar, he said, “before elections Mufti Sayeed would say Kashmir issue will be settled with the consent of Hurriyat leaders and elections are just for roads, water and electricity.”
“But after cunningly getting access to power he arrested the whole Hurriyat leadership,” he said.
Earlier, Qayoom paid glorious tributes to the Muslims who were massacred on this day in 1947 and said that people shall never forget their martyrdom and carry on their mission forward.
Imam Jamia Farooq Kichloo also spoke on the occasion and condemned the continuous detention of Geelani and “prayed for martyrs of Jammu offering full support to Geelani’s Million march scheduled to held tomorrow at TRC Srinagar.”
