KPDCL Announces Power Shutdown in Kashmir Parts

   

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of south Kashmir on September 16, 17 and 21 to facilitate maintenance work.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, power supply from the 33 KV Sarnal-Akhura Tapline will remain affected from 9 am to 2 pm on September 16 in Anchidora, Chee, Prakashpora, Nambal, Akhura, Nanil and adjoining areas.

A shutdown of the 33 KV Mattan-Pahalgam line will also be observed from 9 am to 2 pm on September 16 and 21, affecting power supply to Hutmurrah, Salia, Silgam, Sallar, Kullar, Dehwatoo, Ladi, Aishmuqam, Pahalgam, Lodroo and adjoining areas.

Meanwhile, the 132/33 KV Grid Station Kulgam will remain under shutdown from 8 am to 2 pm on September 17. The disruption will affect Ashmuji, Chambgund, Kilam, Devsar, Sopat, Akhal, Pombai, Yaripora, Parigam, Tarigam, Behibagh, Daderkoot, DH Pora, Ahmadabad, Aharbal, Bhatipora, Hospital, KB Pora, Khull, Gopalpora, Rambhama, Nillow, Arreh, Begam, Sehpora, Kulgam town and adjoining areas.

KPDCL said the shutdowns have been scheduled as part of planned maintenance work.
