SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer of Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Chanapora and Baghimehtab lines on January 29, 2026.
As a result, power supply to Naik Bagh, Natipora, Baghat, Sanat Nagar, Chanapora, Baghimehtab, Kralpora, Mochwa, and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:00 PM.
The shutdown is necessary to carry out maintenance work on the transmission lines, KPDCL officials said, and they urged residents and businesses to make alternative arrangements during the power interruption.
