KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdowns Across Kashmir

   

SRINAGAR: Power supply to several areas of Kashmir will remain affected for scheduled shutdowns of 33 kV transmission lines on September 7, 8, 12 and 15, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of the 33 kV Airforce line will be observed from 10 am to 2 pm on September 7, affecting power supply to Humhama, Jeelani Abad, Co-operative Colony, Nadroo, Sheikhpora, PHQ, Airport, Hyderpora and adjoining areas.

Similarly, the 33 kV Awantipora-Sangam 2nd line will remain under scheduled shutdown from 9 am to 3 pm on September 8, 12 and 15.

The shutdown will affect power supply to Siamoh, K-Koot, Kiagam, Hariparigam, Chakoora, Gulzarpora, Panzgam, Railway and adjoining areas.

KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements in view of the scheduled interruptions.
