KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdowns Across Multiple Areas

   

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across several areas of the Valley in early November for maintenance and upgradation works.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33 KV Danderkhah line will remain shut on November 6, 2025, from 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM, affecting power supply to City Hospital, SD Colony, Tengpora, Gulberg Colony, and adjoining areas.

Similarly, the 33 KV Nagam–Hafroo Tap line will remain shut on November 1, 2025, from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM, impacting the Hafroo receiving station and disrupting electricity in Badipora, Hafroo, Bizgo, Loolipora, Naharpora, Watkaloo, and nearby localities.

On November 4, 2025, shutdowns will also be observed at Peerbagh Receiving Station (10.00 AM to 2.00 PM) and Batamaloo Receiving Station (10.00 AM to 3.00 PM), affecting areas including Humhuma, Peerbagh, Jalalabad, Green Avenue, Batamaloo, and Baranpather.

Additionally, the 33 KV Tral-II and AIIMS lines will undergo maintenance on November 1, 2025, between 9.00 AM and 3.00 PM, due to which Aripal, Gulabagh, and Lurgam receiving stations will remain off. The outage will impact Lam, Jawaharpora, Aripal, Khangund, Satoora, Nargistan, Nanar, Taki, Batagund, Lurgam, Pastoona, and adjoining areas.

KPDCL has advised residents to make necessary arrangements and cooperate during the scheduled maintenance period to ensure smoother power supply in the future.
