SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 33 KV Waterhail Tap Line and 33 KV Budgam SIDCO Line on June 1, affecting electricity supply to several areas in Budgam district.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown will remain in effect from 9 am to 3 pm to facilitate necessary works.
The areas likely to witness power disruption include Waterhail, Samsaan, Parthan, Waterhail PHE Sub-Station, Charangam, Budgam, Sebdan, Nasrullahpora, Jawalapora, Ompora, SIDCO, Housing Colony, Railway Station Budgam, NIFT and adjoining localities.
Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outage.
