SRINAGAR: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced multiple scheduled power shutdowns across south and central Kashmir in early December.
According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution), the 33 kV Lassipora–Landoora line will remain shut, disrupting electricity supply to Landoora, Watchi, Babapora, Momen, Hermain, Hajipora, Chakoora, Frisal and adjoining areas from 10:30 pm to 3:30 pm on December 4 and 7, 2025.
Similarly, the 33 kV Bemina–Fatehkadal line will be shut, affecting Bishembar Nagar, Babademb, Gousia Hospital, Bohri Kadal, Nowpora, KK Mohalla, Barbarshah and nearby localities from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm on December 4 and 7, 2025.
Likewise, the 33 kV Lassipora–Pulwama line will remain shut, impacting Pulwama Town A, B, C and D, Babhar, Muchpuna, Tahab, the DC Office, Essential, Pinglena, Gundipora, Gangoo, Tenghar, Koil, Tengpuna and adjoining areas from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm on December 7, 2025.
KPDCL has advised consumers to plan accordingly during the shutdown periods.
