KPDCL Schedules Power Shutdowns Multiple Areas

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation (KPDCL) has announced a series of planned power shutdowns across multiple areas in the Union Territory during February 2026.

The 132/33 KV D/C Delina-Sheeri LJHP line will be shut on February 9, from 10 AM to 3 PM, affecting power supply to Short Delina, DIC, New DIC, Old Army, Main Bazar, Ushkara, PHE, Sangri, Microwave, Kanlibagh, GMC, Old Town, Baramulla, Kanil Bagh, Drangbal, Sheeri, Boniyar, Trikanjan, Limber, Nowshera, JNV, Peernia, MES, Uri and surrounding areas.

The 132 kV ICT-Ckt-I at 200 MVA, 132/33 KV Grid Station Pampore will be shut on February 9, from 10 AM to 11 AM, disrupting electricity to Rawalpora, SanatNagar, Chanapora, Hyderpora, Humhama, Baghat, Barzullah, Rambagh, Natipora, B&J Bagh-i-Mehtab, Rangreth, JAKLI, BEACON, Wanbal, Batagund, Aripal, Lurgam, Noorgam, Lalgam, Tral, Tral i Bala, Cheewa, Panzgam, LIS-I, II, III, K. Koot, Marhama, Khiram, Khellan, Konibal, Kadlabal, Shar Shali, IE Wuyan, IE Khrew, Cement Plants, Pahru, BK Pora, Nowgam Railway Station, Summerbugh, Khanda, Ladhoo and adjoining areas.

The 132 kV ICT-Ckt-II at 200 MVA, 132/33 KV Grid Station Pampore will be shut on February 11, from 10 AM to 2 PM, affecting the same localities.

Other planned shutdowns include the 33 KV Watrehail Tapline on February 12 and 16, from 10 AM to 3 PM, impacting Watrehail, Samsaan, Parthan, PHE Substation Watrehail and nearby areas, and the 33 KV Lassipora-Keegam line on February 11, 14 and 16, from 9 AM to 3 PM, affecting Pakherpora, Hawl, Rajpora, Rahmoo, Keegam, Gulshanabad, Akhal, Chararipora and surrounding areas.

The previously approved shutdown for the 33 KV Pampore-Lethpora line, initially scheduled for February 8 and 11, has been rescheduled to February 9 and 11, while the 33 KV Cheshmashahi TRC Nedous line shutdown scheduled for February 8, has been cancelled.

KPDCL has urged residents to plan accordingly and exercise caution during these periods, emphasising that the shutdowns are necessary for maintenance and operational safety.
