SRINAGAR: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a revised shutdown schedule for the 33 KV Kupwara Old, HOT, and MES lines to carry out essential maintenance work.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdown of the 132/33KV Arampora Grid Station, originally scheduled for October 19, has been rescheduled to October 24. As a result, power supply will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM in several areas, including Krusen, Sogam, Machil, Khumriyal, Tikker, Galizoo, Drugmulla, and MES.
The office also announced the cancellation of the planned shutdown of the 33KV Cheshmashahi-Brein-Nishat-Shalimar-Harwan line, which was scheduled for October 24. Similarly, the 33KV Wanganpora-Soura line shutdown, previously set for October 22, has also been called off.
A power shutdown for branch cutting on the 33KV Nehalpora-Markundal line will affect power supply to Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, Chandangeer, Ankhul, and Gandboon areas on October 23 and 27, between 09:00 AM and 04:00 PM.
Furthermore, the shutdown of the 33KV Chadoora Panzan line is scheduled for October 22 from 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM, impacting the Panzan area due to maintenance work at the 33/11KV Receiving Station at Panzan.
