SRINAGAR :The University of Kashmir has assigned Professor Syeda Afshana Bhat, a faculty member at the Media Education Research Centre (MERC), the additional charge of In-Charge Director of the Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC) with effect from August 1, 2026.
According to an order issued by the University’s Administration (Teaching Section), Prof Bhat will hold the additional responsibility alongside her existing duties at MERC until further orders.
The order, issued on August 4, has been circulated to the university’s academic departments, research centres and other concerned offices for information and necessary action.
The Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMMRC) is the university’s media production and educational content hub, responsible for developing audio-visual and digital learning resources.(KNT)
