SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Khurbatpora area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.
An official said that two militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Khurbatpora area of Kulgam.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Khurbatpora area of Kulgam.
