SRINAGAR
One person was apprehended by Bandipora police carrying ammunition at a Naka checking at Wangipora, Bandipora. A police statement said on Friday.
The statement added that during the intervening night of September 25 and 26, a naka was established at Wangipora, Bandipora in Sumbal area. During the checking at the naka, police apprehended one Parveiz Ahmad son of Abdul Rashid resident of Shuganpora, Kulgam.
Police said two AK magazines, ten rounds of AK ammunition and one RPG booster was recovered from his possession. A case has been registered in this regard.
