A Police vehicle over turned at village Warsun Kralpora in Kupwara resulting in injuries to six persons, a police statement said.
“The police had visited the spot after it learnt about a land dispute which was precipitated by victory celebrations by some political workers. The vehicle which was parked near a retention wall overturned, when it was being started,” it informed.
“In this incident six onlookers were injured. The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Among the injured Abdul Rashid Ganaie son of Abdul Satar Ganaie and Abdul Rashid Bajad son of Noor-ud-Din residents of Warsun Kupwara succumbed to their injuries. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives and have been buried,” the statement said.
