Kashmir University Students Union staged a massive protest against the atrocities, arrests and Gool killings on Tuesday.

According to reports hundreds of students from all Departments of Kashmir University soon after mid-day prayers assembled outside Masjid and took out a rally against the desecration of Holy Quran, atrocities and Ramban killings.

The students carried with them different banners and the black flags seeking freedom from India. University reverberated with pro-freedom, pro-Islam and anti-India slogans. Students accompanied by general staffers urged upon the International community to put an end to the ‘Indian occupation in Kashmir’.

One of the students told CNS that a rally was taken out from University Masjid, which went through different lanes and finally culminated with pro-freedom slogans. “The students played the national anthem of Pakistan at before getting disperses,” he said.
