Kashmir University Teachers Association (KUTA) 0n Sunday has expressed anguish, dismay and concern over the increasing incidents of violence against Kashmiri students studying outside the state.

A spokesman of the association in a statement condemned the recent incidents of assaults on two Kashmiri students in Haryana and harassment of SKUAST students on their educational tour in Bhopal.

These incidents have increased the sense of insecurity and anxiety among Kashmiri students studying outside as well as among their parents and relatives in Kashmir valley.

KUTA has impressed upon the state government and its security agencies to take all necessary measures required to ensure safety and security of Kashmiri students undergoing studies outside the valley and to immediately put an end to such uncalled for incidents of harassment and violence.
