A meeting of the Committee on Public Undertakings (PUC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held Wednesday under the chairmanship of MLA, Javid Ahmad Dar.
Threadbare discussion was held on the working of Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd. The Committee appreciated the role of JK Bank and its effective functioning throughout the country.
The Committee pointed out that the loan ratio extended to the state was lower as compared with rest of the states of the country.
The Chairman of the Bank informed the meeting that earlier it was 50-50 ratio now it has been changed to 60-40 ratio (outside state/JK State), however, the bank provides loan to all the applicants who apply for it under different schemes and fulfill the norms.
