A laborer died while another got injured when they came under a slide while working at a quarry in Devsar area of Kulgam district last evening.
Two laborers Basher Ahmad Chowhan son of Abdul Hamid Chowhan resident of Maskhud Gangdar Kulgam and Rafiq Ahmad Hamrah son of Ibrahim resident of Nagrad Qazigund came under a slide while extracting stones at Maskhud, in Devsar, Kulgam.
Basher Ahmad died on spot while Rafiq Ahmad was shifted to hospital in injured condition. The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
