SRINAGAR: A labourer died after being hit by a Bajri mixer near the Mess area of JVC Hospital in Bemina on Saturday.
Officials said the labourer, identified as Ghulam Nabi, 45, a resident of Khadi Banihal, sustained critical injuries in the incident. He was immediately shifted to JVC Hospital, Bemina, where doctors confirmed that he had suffered severe head trauma.
Despite receiving emergency treatment, Ghulam Nabi succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings. [KNT]
