SRINAGAR: Nobel Prize has extended invitation to Prof Javed Iqbal, offering a scholarship to participate in the ‘Nobel Prize Teacher Summit 2024’.
Dr Javid, a Senior Assistant Professor at GDC Kargil, also serves as a Member of the Ladakh Biodiversity Council and the State Board for Wildlife of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The summit, scheduled to be held in Stockholm, Sweden in October 2024, promises a gathering of educators, Nobel laureates, distinguished scientists, and peace activists. Themed “Minding the Brain”, the summit aims to explore crucial educational aspects concerning the mind.
Supported by the Swedish Institute (SI), renowned for fostering interest and confidence in Sweden globally, the summit offers financial aid to 35 educators for a comprehensive four-day programme.
The summit will take place on October 4, while international participants will attend an extended programme, spanning from October 2 to October 5.
