A lady has committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
Reports said that Aasiya Begum, wife of Abdul Hamid Shah, a resident of Muqam village in Bandipora committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance.
They said she was immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment where from where she was referred to District hospital Bandipora.
However, doctors at Bandipora hospital declared her as brought dead on arrival, said the reports.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard, said an official.
