SRINAGAR
One person died while two others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, police said on Saturday.
A vehicle bearing registration number JIK01S/4007 driven by Sheikh Ubaid son of Sheikh Ghulam Nabi resident of Gulshan Nagar Srinagar hit and injured a lady Raja Begum wife of Gull Mohammad Bhat resident of Badrem Pahalgam, Ashmuqam near Jamkash vehicles Hyderpora. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to her relatives for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04B/6815 driven by Lateef Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Gani resident of Rathsuna hit and injured a child Sadiya Akbar daughter of Mohammad Akbar Mir resident of Rathsuna at Rathsuna, in Beerwah, Budgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a sumo bearing registration number JK03C/ 8768 driven by Mohammad Yaseen Gendad son of Bashir Ahmed resident of Rakhi Brah Mattan, Islamabad hit and injured a pedestrian Rabi Jan daughter of Mohammad Maqbool resident of Bindoo at Bindoo, in Kokernag. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
