A lady got drowned in river Kishan Ganga after slipping from a foot bridge, in Bandipora, last evening, a police statement said on Monday.
35 year old Malli Begum wife of Mohammad Afzal Khan resident of Malangam slipped while crossing a foot bridge over river Kishan Ganga at Malangam in Bandipora and got drowned.
The body of the lady was fished out from the river and handed over to her next of kin for last rites.
