Police arrested a lady, peddling Codeine Phosphate bottles and supplying them to the addicted youth of the area, a police statement said on Monday.
“In its drive against drug peddlers, a police party headed by SHO Shergarhi Mohammad Isaaq today arrested a lady peddler Nelofer wife of Sajad Ahmad Khan resident of Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar and recovered 30 Codeine Phosphate bottles and 480 Alprox tablets from her possession,” the statement informed.
A case FIR number 73/2014 under section 22 NDPS Act was registered against the lady and investigation has been taken up.
