A lady has suffered injuries after armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire along LoC in Khilla Dhok, Kathi Post in Uri.
Sources said that lady has been identified as Shakeela Begum, 45, wife of Yar Ali Khan resident of Dardkote.
They said that the lady was shifted to Sub District Hospital Uri where from she was referred to Baramulla district Hospital.
Hospital sources said that Shakeela has been hit by a splinter in her foot.
Earlier the armies of the two countries exchanged massive shelling since 7 in the morning.
Army sources said that the Indian army effectively kept retaliating to the “ceasefire violation” by Pakistan.
