Two persons died while one was injured in different road accident across the valley, police said on Saturday.
A 50 years old Zoona Begum wife Ghulam Rasool Malik resident of Khayaar Bandipora was critically injured when she was hit by An Alto 800 bearing registration number JK15/451 on May 8, at Nowpora Chowk, in Bandipora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura where she succumbed to her injuries last evening.
Meanwhile, 18 years old Waqar Ahmed Wani son of Mohammad Shafi Wani resident of Mukdam Mohallah Trehgam, Kupwara fell from a moving Tata vehicle bearing registration number JK09/1547 and was ran-over by the said vehicle near Hayan, resulting in his on spot death.
The body of deceased boy was handed over to his next of kin for last rites.
In another accident, a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01F/0298 was hit by a Tipper bearing registration number JK03/7288 at Gufbal Quimoh, in Kulgam, resulting in injuries to a pedestrian. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
