A youth died after being buried under a landslide in Pattan area of Baramulla District, last evening.

A 16 years Akhter Hussain Sofi son of Mohammad Ibrahim resident of Udina, Pattan came under a landslide at Udina, in Pattan, resulting in his on spot death. Police said on Tuesday that the body was later retrieved from the debris and was later handed over to his relatives for last rites.

Meanwhile four persons died and twenty seven others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.

One person died and 19 others were injured when a Tata-407 bearing registration number 943/JK03 they were travelling in, turned turtle near Seer, in Mattan, Islamabad. One person Nissar Ahmed Magary resident of Mulsoo Seer, Mattan died in the mishap. All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a 4 years old boy Mumin Ahmed Bhat son of Rouf Ahmed Bhat resident of Hayat Pora, Bidder fell from a tractor bearing chasis number 8437843756-DC13 at  Adigam, in Kokernag. The boy died on spot.

In another accident, a Beacon Platform vehicle turned turtle at Sadipora, Nambla and fell in a deep gorge. Two Beacon laborers Farooq Ahmed Mir and Mohammad Arif Kumar residents of Nambla died while four others were injured in this accident. All the injured have been shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment.

An Alto Car bearing registration number JK05A/5507 hit and injured a pedestrian at Nowpora Chowk, in Bandipora. The injured has been hospitalized. Bandipora Police has registered a case in this regard.

A Tractor turned turtle near Kandoora, in Beerwah, Budgam, resulting in injuries to three persons including the driver of the tractor. All the injured have been shifted to Hospital for treatment.
