Srinagar: As the traffic was scheduled to run from Jammu to Srinagar today on Friday, reports said that massive landslides at Digdol on the highway has forces the closure of the highway temporarily leading to massive traffic jams.
Reports pouring in said that from Udhampur to Samruli massive traffic jams have caused huge inconvenience to the commuters.
“The traffic is moving at very slow pace and we are still stuck around Samruli,” a passenger informed Kashmir Life.
As per the details of the Traffic police at around 11:45 in morning the stones begun rolling down at Digdol, resulting in the temporary closure of the road.
Thousands of vehicles are on way to valley and are stuck on the way.
According to the details shared by the Traffic police, atleast, 1205 heavy motor vehicles and 1095 light motor vehicles have crossed Jakhani Udhampur , towards Srinagar.
