Lawyer Jasbeer Kaur who edited a weekly newspaper, Jehlum Post, has died of a cardiac arrest. She was in her early fifties.
Informed sources told Kashmir Life that late Kaur reported chest pain Saturday night and her friend drove her to Khyber Hospital where she passed away within a few minutes. Doctors said she had suffered a massive heart attack.
Kaur’s dead body was consigned to flames Sunday morning. There were a number of people, mostly friends, well-wishers and relatives, who bid her tearful adieu.
