SRINAGAR: Legrand Empowering Programme is inviting applications from exemplary girl students all over India. The Scholarship is meant to assist girl students to pursue a career in Architecture, Sciences, Engineering, and Finance.
The application process is completely online and the last date to apply for the scholarship is August 31, 2023. Candidates willing to apply must have an admission in B. Tech, B. Com, BBA, B. Sc, B. Arch, from a recognized institution in India.
The Eligibility criteria for the applicants involve a minimum of 70 percent and more marks in classes 10 and 12. Applicants must have passed class 12 in the year 2022-2023. The yearly family income of the candidate from all sources should be less than INR 5, 00,000.
Girl students will be awarded a 60 percent course fee up to INR 60, 000 per year on academic performance.
Students of Special Categories like differently-abled students, transgender students, students with single parents, and students who lost their parents due to COVID will be given preference. The Category will be awarded an 80 percent fee up to INR 1, 00,000 per year.
