SRINAGAR: At least two people were injured after being attacked by a leopard in the Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening, officials said.

The injured individuals have been identified as Abdul Razzaq Chopan (30), son of Khazir Mohammad Chopan, and Abdul Aziz Chopan (35), son of Khazir Mohammad Chopan. The officials mentioned that the duo was attacked near the forest area at Ganeshpura Baisaran in Pahalgam.

“The injured individuals were promptly evacuated from the site and taken to GMC Anantnag. Currently, both of them are reported to be in stable condition,” added the officials. (GNS)
