SRINAGAR: A leopard strayed into Beerwah village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday and created panic in the entire area.

People after spotting the wild animal and later inform the forest department and accordingly a team arrives to rescue it. However, the leopard has entered the residential area of Abdul Rashid son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Watalpora Beerwah.

Quoting an official news agency KDC reported that a Wild Life team has been deputed to the area and hopefully the wild animal will be caught soon.

He said, “people of the particular area are requested to stay cautious till the Leopard will be caught”.
