Police on Friday claimed that they arrested a local LeT militant from Pattan area of Baramulla district, reports said.
Police sources said that the arrest was made after acting on specific information received by Police regarding the movement of the militant in the Pattan area.
He was identified as Firdous Ahmed Wani belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant outfit, police said.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession, police sources added.
