SRINAGAR: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of Lashkar-i-Toiba in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Quoting a senior police officer news agency GNS that a militant associate of LeT was arrested during Naka checking at Kralhar railway station.
The officer identified the militant associate as Faisal Ahmed Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmed Dar resident of Maldara Shopian.
From his possession, 10 rounds of the pistol were also recovered and an FIR No 271/2021, U/S 7/25 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Baramulla in this regard, the officer added.
