SRINAGAR: The security forces on Sunday arrested a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant associate in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district and recovered arms and ammunition from his possession, official sources said.
Quoting official sources news agency KDC reported that the LeT militant associate was arrested by security forces and have recovered one star pistol, 51 9mm rounds and two grenades from his possession.
The official sources identified the militant associate as Yamin Yousuf Bhat (19) son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, a resident of Gadhama.
Following the arrest, a case was registered in this connection and further investigation taken up.
