SRINAGAR
Police Friday claimed that it arrested a youth involved in militancy from Rampora area of Chattabal Srinagar city during a late night raid.
Police sources said that acting on specific information, a Special Operation Group party raided a house in Chattabal and took a youth into custody.
Police said that the youth is an active militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba. Police however, did not reveal his identity, but sources said that the youth hails from North Kashmir’s Sopore town.
