At least 44 CRPF troopers were injured after an IED detonated at Lethpora area of Wantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district
A CRPF official confirmed the injuries of at least forty-four troopers and added that they have been shifted to 92 Base Hospital located at the Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar for the treatment.
Reports said that an explosive has created panic among the masses living near the spot, and the traffic movement on the highway is also paralysed.
Meanwhile, mixed contingents of forces including Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF are on the spot to assess the further situation.
