SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday flagged off a group of 25 young participants from different districts of South Kashmir for a 10-day educational and cultural exposure tour aimed at promoting communal harmony.
Interacting with the participants, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed his best wishes and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunity.
As part of the tour, the youth, including students and emerging young leaders, will travel to Chandigarh, Haryana and Shimla, where they will be exposed to diverse cultural, educational and developmental experiences.
Aligned with the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, the initiative seeks to foster national integration, cultural understanding and experiential learning by offering firsthand exposure to India’s rich heritage and ongoing development.
The programme is being organised by Prosperous, Accountable and Transparent JK, an NGO, in collaboration with the Haryana Media Association and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Jammu.
